Neither of which inspire confidence in EA. I don't agree with this practice as it is, at best, suspicious, at worst deliberate manipulation. There is no technical difficulty or reason for this Information not to be readily available, so my instincts tell me that this must a deliberate action / intent on the part of EA. I'm sure the illegal torrent sites would have this information immediately available in the same way torrents with legal content would have. The way I'm understanding this, is that EA is acknowledging that the download size, in fact, is not available to its customers?ĭo thousands of customers hit the download button without any idea of what size the download size will be? Now while that does not solve your request to list the size prior to purchase, it does always have the most up to date information available to those that own the game at the time they attempt to download and install it. If you buy a disc, you get the most current version at the time and install that. I think the key information is that the download size isn't set in stone as it would be on a disc medium.
